The old town is just off the main centre of this busy little seaside resort along the west coast of southern Italy. With 6km of beaches Scalea is a popular destination for many Italians during the long hot Calabrian summers. Still a bit of a hidden secret to many outside Italy, Scalea is a welcoming vibrant Calabrian experience you won’t be disappointed with.

Scalea is just 1 hours train ride from Lamezia Terme airport. Naples is just over 2 hours with Rome a 4 hour journey. To the south Sicily is 3 hours.
