The quaint town of Falerna features a magnificent stretch of sandy beach and promenade. Along the beach you will find a parade of beautiful café bars and restaurants. The town is set in a peaceful area that is easily accessible and approx ten minutes from the airport. This is an excellent location from which you can explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside and traditional, historic, hillside towns. The National Park of La Sila is approx 1 ¼ hr drive away and benefits from year round activities; walking, pony trekking and quad biking in the summer and in the winter there are a variety of ski resorts offering skiing, ski school, snowboarding and skidoos. From the position of the apartment you can enjoy the activities of a winter holiday from a winter sun location. The towns of Amantea and Campora San Giovanni are a short drive away where there are many shops, café bars and restaurants.
